Returns
Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. In the rare case that you wish to return an item, we need notification within 48 hours of delivery. You can do this by emailing info@georgegen.com.au.
Refunds will be made upon receipt and inspection of returned goods. A refund for the full amount, minus the original postage costs associated with your purchase which are non-refundable, will then be issued.
Please note that the buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the item and any damage that may occur during the return shipping. All parcels are sent back at your own risk. We would advise using tracked delivery as the parcel is not our responsibility until we have received the item or items. Please ensure that the item or items are very well wrapped and suitably packaged to avoid damage in transit (the original packaging can be used) as we can’t give refunds on anything which is delivered damaged.
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll automatically be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Damaged or lost in transit
We insure all deliveries against loss or damage during transit.
Refunds will be made if an item is damaged in transit, once this has been established or if an item is lost in transit, again after investigation with the appropriate postal or courier company.
In the unfortunate event that your item arrives damaged, please email us within 48 hours, with a description of the damage and clear photos of the packaging and any damage to the piece, as these are required for insurance. If this information is not provided we are unable to claim insurance and will not be able to issue a refund.
On occasion, we may want a damaged item returned. In this instance we will cover the return shipping costs. Please keep original packaging for the return shipment.
