The catalogue of an exhibition of woodcuts and linocuts that was held at Deutsher Galleries in Armidale from 13 April to 5 May 1978. The exhibition showed the development of Australian relief printing over five decades from the turn of the century. It included examples of works by English artists who influenced their Australian contemporaries. The catalogue has biographical details on each artist represented in the exhibition. It also contains an appendix with details of artists working in the medium that were not represented in the exhibition. Black and white images throughout. Published in an edition of 1250 copies.
