EXHIBITION CATALOGUE
The catalogue of the first temporary exhibition that was held at the National Gallery of Victoria’s new building from 21 August to 28 September 1968. The exhibition concentrated on the works of the abstractionists. The contents include descriptions of the 74 works; biographical notes on the 40 artists; and essays by Elwyn Lynn, Patrick McCaughey and Royston Harpur. Illustrated throughout with colour and black and white plates of the exhibited works.
